Ralph Levi Watts

Ralph Levi Watts, 87, of Streator, passed away Sunday October 8, 2017 in Flanagan.
Funeral services for Ralph Watts will be at 12 noon Thursday October 12, 2017 at the Elias Funeral Home, Pastor Rodney Kreier of the Church of the Open Bible will officiate, burial will follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Park, serving as pallbearers will be James Sherwood, Charles Sherwood, Cameron Meyers, Joel Meyers, Roger Smith and Steve Westerhold.  A visitation will be from 10 - 12 noon Thursday at the Elias Funeral Home.
Born September 28, 1930 in Menlo, Iowa, he was the son of Merle and Winter (Brown) Watts, he married Kathy Esslinger on December 29, 1987, she survives.
He is also survived by his son Paul Watts of Tampa, FL, brothers Wayne (Margery)  Larry (Faye) Watts both of Stuart, IA, sisters Phyllis Bruecks of Omaha, NB and Linda Thompson of West Des Moines, IA., in-law’s Bill (Cathy) Esslinger of Frankfort, IL, John (Ann) McCarrell of East Moline, IL,
good friend Dennis Kalbach, his nursing home buddies Delmer and Joe and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by, brother in law Hal Esslinger.
He graduated from Open Bible College.  He was a factory worker for 45 years at Flink Manufacturing, and was Assistant Minister to early Streator Open Bible Church and served as Lead Minister while the church was looking for a new Pastor.
