Scott Angelos

Scott Angelos, 60, of Streator, passed away Friday Mar. 29th at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Scott Angelos will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday April 6th at St. Michael the Archangel Parish. The visitation will be following the mass from 11 - 2 p.m. Saturday at the Elias Funeral Home, cremation rites have been accorded.
Born February 6, 1959 in Streator, he was the son of Paul and Margaret (Farrington) Angelos. He was formerly married to Jill Martin.
He is survived by his daughter Ashley (Ryan) Klein of Glen Ellyn, IL, granddaughter Palmer Klein, siblings Karen (Jack) Bottoms of Streator, Sue (Ron) Grubich of Peru, Dave (Michelle) Angelos of LaSalle and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Scott attended St. Mary's grade school and graduated from Streator Township High School in 1977. He worked as a welder and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
Scott was a kind-hearted man who always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, watching sports, and looked forward to attending church each Saturday. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
