Terry L. “Curley” Katcher, 65, of Streator, passed away Friday May 18, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A visitation for Terry “Curley” Katcher will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday May 23, 2018 at the Elias Funeral Home with services to follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Elias Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery.
Born September 12, 1952 in Streator, Il, he was the son of Vincent and Aileen (Dunham) Katcher, he married Janice “Ruthie” Roy on May 1, 1976.
He is survived by his wife Jan “Ruthie” of Streator, daughter Christy (Dave) Kupec of Streator and granddaughter Lily Kupec of Streator.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Terry graduated from Streator Township High School and worked as a welder at Flinks for over 25 years retiring in 2015. He was a member of Lazy Acres.
He loved to go fishing, riding his Harley and after his retirement he developed a “green thumb” for gardening, he was a loving husband and father, but his main love was his granddaughter Lily, he would do anything to watch her play softball, soccer, volleyball and run track.
