Phillip A. Emm

Phillip A. “Lumpy” Emm, 65, of Streator, passed away Friday April 13, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral services for Phillip Emm will be at 5 p.m. Saturday April 21, 2018 at the Elias Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery.
Born March 9, 1953 in Streator, he was the son of Norman and Goldie (Robinson) Emm, he married  Elizabeth Kay Norris on September 15, 1978.
He is survived by his wife Kay of Streator, daughter Erin (DJ) Marconi of Streator, granddaughter Macie Marconi of Streator, siblings Larry (Patsy) Emm of Streator, Linda Rapson of Olgesby, brother-in-law’s Jack Berckemeyer of Colorado, Robert Wright of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Donald Emm, Charlotte Michael, Karen Shepard, Sharon Berckemeyer, Patricia Goodrich and Norma Wright.
Lumpy graduated from Streator Township High School in 1972 and attended Texas A & I University.
He was a machine operator at Thatchers Glass Mfg. in Streator and Owens IL in Chicago Heights, he also tended bar at Omar’s Tap in Streator.
