Ann (Kuhn) Bedeker

Ann “Annie” Bedeker, of Streator, passed away Wednesday October 25, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A Mass of Celebration will be at 11 a.m. Saturday October 28, 2017 at St. Mary of the Fields in Grand Ridge, IL. Visitation will be from 8 - 11 a.m. at the church. The Elias Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Born February 18, 1938 in Streator, she was the daughter of Clarence and Veronica (Kerrigan) Kuhn, she married Edward “Ed” Bedeker on October 4, 1958, they just celebrated their 59th anniversary.
She is survived by her husband Ed of Streator, daughters Kerrie (Rich) Weber of Ottawa, Kellie (Bill) Dovin of Streator, daughter-in-law Lynn (Mark Sliker) Bedeker of Streator, grandchildren Bridget (James) Robbins, Bailey (Brad Minogue) Weber, Rory (Carri) Bedeker, Brady (Bridget Ann) Bedeker, Shelby Dovin, great-granddaughter Brynlee Bedeker. She s also survived by her siblings Mary (Don) Harstad of Grand Ridge, Edna (Roger) Talty of Ransom, Clarence “Bud” (Norma) Kuhn of Grand Ridge, sister and brother in laws Gaylene Bedeker, Mary Lou Bedeker, Darlene Bedeker, Dave Bedeker and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son Joe B., granddaughter Faith Dovin, sister, Bonnie Hill, sister’s-in-law Carol (John) Schmidt, Patsy Bedeker, brother’s-in-law James, Robert, Robert and Ron Bedeker.
Ann was a devout catholic and a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Field’s Church, she attended Country Schools and graduated from Marquette High School. She worked at Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa for over 30 years as a Rehab Aid. The love of her life were her children and grandchildren, and she was her grandkids “biggest fan”! She will be missed by many!
